Here is the vanity. We have some trim work left to do. And I'm waiting on some bathroom accessories to be delivered. But I now have a fully functional bathroom! YAY!

I am... And the vanity was a repurposed antique dresser from my mom's basement. ☺

That is a very nice re-do. I was surprised to see that I actually have the exact same dresser from the 40s or 50s? Is yours also aged? The only difference is that my knobs are white with flowers on them. I bought it at auction more then ten years ago and it was covered in white paint and had particle board on the top. I took all the paint and board off and repainted it. I am stunned to see one like it. Thanks for the photo...

I couldn't really tell you the year/decade of the dresser. It was my stepdad's ex-wife's grandmother's [I think].

He was just happy to make some more room in his basement! And I was happy to have a free vanity!!! I couldn't believe how much money a vanity is anymore!!! Especially one the size we needed. I bought one for my mom [albeit smaller] for about $110 [without a top] roughly 10yrs ago. The SAME EXACT ONE now? $300! WITHOUT a top!

Yes they are expensive even the particle boards that no one should buy if they want them to last. Anyway great re-do job.

Beautiful job Aub. Now you can spend about two weeks relaxing in the tub while hubby delivers many large glasses of cold champagne.

It cost us UNDER $3000 for everything.

Craigslist and Home Depot [old stock... big sale on tile].
