Um, I live close enough. I don't feel the need to live there.

CoH please.

It does seem like a creative solution to a pressing problem. It is not for everyone. But worth a try for those interested.

I congratulate those businesses who are stepping up to the plate to do something positive to revitalize the city. Now if the people of Michigan could only do something about Governor Snyder.

    Agreed.

@ Doc - They have petitioners on every corner around here. Most people are signing to get Snyder out.

It's got possibilities....but only if you're packing do you attempt to get close.

      I'm always packing (legally). I have a Springfield XD9 and a Kahr CW40.

I think it is a damn shame at how the city if Detroit, which was once the beaming example of the industrial and social might of the United States (Detroit had far more minority integration than just about any other city in the US), has turned into the depressing example of how we as a society prefer to just dump what we feel is no longer useful.

You can see that pride in the architecture of some of its buildings, its homes, its institutions.

America should be ashamed of throwing it away, and it isn't just detroit, it is the entire rust belt.

(everytime I see photos of Central Station, I just think, wow, if we could just find a use for that grand stately building)
